The 1st CHURCH IN ALPBACH, ST. OSWALD CHURCH, was built by Irish and Scottish monks.
At the CEMETARY of Alpbach lights are lit every night to remember the poor souls.
ROSSMOOS: Tirolean guesthouse. We recommend our guests to eat there. It is only a 2-minute walk from our house and you don’t need a car. So you can enjoy a good glass of wine or beer and enjoy Tirolean culinary delights.
ZOTTERHOF: At Gitta’s you can enjoy the best Kaiserschmarrn (shredded pancakes with sugar and raisins) ever.
WURMHOF: Rosa serves homemade cakes and snacks.
FAULBAUMGARTENALM: In winter this is the best toboggan run and in summer one of the most beautiful hikes. At the end farmer Hans awaits you with a snack.
ALPBACH INDOOR SWIMMING BATH: new sauna area and nice swimming pool. Enjoy a good meal at Flo’s restaurant afterwards.
MOUNTAIN FARMERS’ MUSEUM IN INNERALPBACH: very old Alpbach farm house, farmers’ furniture, kitchen and working devices.
